Make Your Own Album Cover Wall Organizers

Anyone who knows me knows that I am an avid crafter. I love to make things.

As a child, my mother (a librarian) forced me to go to work with her every day after school. While the other kids read books on their own, did their homework, or attended story hour I sat alone at a table and made a mess with the library’s craft supplies… I did this every day! In my lifetime, I think I have tried every craft out there AND I have tons of abandoned supplies to prove it. I think it’s genetic.

With all that said, you can probably guess how I reacted when I came across this organizing idea… Album Cover Wall Organizers! What a great, inexpensive way to create some interesting wall pockets for your work space. You can reuse / recycle those old, worn out album covers to add some flair to your organizing efforts.  Talk about green organizing! What’s even better, you can make them in about 5 minutes and are virtually free (if you already have some albums in your basement).

As a matter of fact, I think I’m heading to my thrift store tomorrow to find some great albums to make a few for myself.

You can than take the albums and cover the wall in neat rows. It becomes an accent wall and even cooler if they are different color vinyl, arrange them in different formations or stick to rows; its a GREAT look.
